Approach North started as an observation that the most hiking and mountaineering articles from the Nordics were written only in the local language so the Approach Norths mission was to write hiking and mountaineering guides what oneself would like to read. Now the mission has expanded to reveal the beauty of Nordic nature to the whole world in English and inspire people to go out and explore these Northern adventures. Im a 30 year old outdoor enthusiast who loves mountains and forests. When other people wait for warm weather I head North to enjoy cool mountain breeze. Currently the ApproachNorth.com contains mountaineering and hiking related articles and adventure gear reviews.
In the future, the Approach North platform will grow with new writers, more youtube video content and expand to cover more the active Nordic style of living with trail running and snow related sports.
